What we keep, who sees it, and why.
Your phone number, the messages you send us, the photos you attach, your name, the job address and access notes, and payment tokens from Stripe (never your card number). If a pro chooses to share their location while driving to you, we keep it only until they arrive. We use an AI model to read your messages and photos so we can scope and price the job; it sees only what you sent about that job.
The pro you choose sees your first name, the job address, your access notes, the photos and the scope. Nobody else does. You see the pro's first name, badges, rating and reviews. Our team sees the thread to run the job and to resolve issues. We use Twilio for texting and calls, Stripe for payments, Google for maps and addresses, and a hosting provider for the service itself; each receives only what it needs to do its part.
We do not share, sell, or provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. We never sell your information.
Handoff works by text. We collect your mobile number and the messages and photos you send so we can quote, book and run your job, and we use your number only to reply about it. Message frequency varies by job, typically 3 to 10 messages per job. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, HELP for help. Consent to receive texts is given directly to Handoff by texting us or by enrolling as a pro; it is never bundled with any other consent. Program terms: texting program and terms of service.
Your address and notes stay on file so you never type them twice; job records stay for accounting and disputes. Text STOP to end messages; text us to have your account deleted, and we will remove what the law lets us remove.
